The Memphian Hotel

Clients : Marriott International, MMI Hotel Group, and The Memphian

McGinn Photography was proud to partner with Mariott and MMI  in  capturing The Memphian, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel debuting on Overton Square in Midtown Memphis in 2021. The 106-room, intimate boutique-style hotel from Marriott is distinguished by artful details that serve to entice travelers and locals alike.

In addition to a curated retail space and a 24-hour fitness center, the Memphian is home to two food and beverage options. The all-day concept Complicated Pilgrim evokes the casual grace of a neighborhood dive, while the rooftop cocktail concept Tiger and Peacock embraces its backdrop city views overlooking Overton Square.

This project was unique in that the hotel was photographed in three phases. One for Mariott, a second time for MMI and their marketing team with styling and staging provided by McGinn Photography and a third time incorporating models for social media which were also styled and directed by McGinn Photography.
